Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, I earned a degree in Sociology from Tulane University while developing an interest in photography. After some time working in hotels in New Orleans, I relocated to California to study at Brooks Institute of Photography, obtaining a 2nd BA in Advertising Illustration. I served as a film commissioner and photographer for Long Beach, CA, and tourism professional and film commissioner for the state of Idaho.
Since retiring from the Idaho Department of Commerce in 2014, I have directed a short documentary, operated a production RV business for 5 years, and helped a few clients with their marketing. I've also dabbled in woodworking, crafting walking sticks and magic wands. My time now is spent with family, occasional pet-sitting, designing greeting cards, selling cards at fairs, pet-sitting, gardening, and traveling to our national parks.
